About us
OJSC "Elecond" is one of the main producers and suppliers of such products as aluminum, niobium and tantalum capacitors to the markets of Russia, CIS countries and Baltic countries.
Our company is in the town of Sarapul, Udmurt Republic. The latter is one of the well-developed industrial areas of Western Ural. There are multiple means of transportation in our town as the Gorky railway crosses the town and there is a river port in Sarapul. There also is an automobile-road system for connection with neighbouring regional centers, republics and the airport of Izhevsk.
The history of our company began on January 22, 1963, when the Council of Ministers of the USSR issued the Order N 121 about building the plant for electrolytic capacitors production in the town of Sarapul. And in January, 1968 the plant was put into operation.
The technology of solid-electrolyte capacitors production was mastered in 1973. To fulfil production program and to promote the technical progress the Special Designer's Office for the plant of "Elecond" was founded in 1975, a number of progressive techniques of foil forming, pyrolysis and ageing of solid-electrolyte capacitors was used by it and new types of capacitors were designed.
In February, 1993 the enterprise became open joint stock company.
Elecond quality management system had been developed and it was in accordance with MC ISO 9000 standards.
In 2002 ELECOND quality management system was certified in the GOST R facultative certification system as per GOST R ISO 9001-2001, "Voenelectronsert" and "Voenny Registr" requirements.
In 2007 ELECOND got the certificate, which confirmed that its quality management system met the requirements of GOST R 51814.1-2004
(ISO/TU 16949:2002).
