Information about
niobium solid-electrolyte capacitors:
Distinguishing features of niobium solid-electrolyte capacitors, produced by OJSC "Elecond".
Niobium solid-electrolyte capacitors differ from tantalum solid-electrolyte capacitors in anode material: instead of tantalum powder niobium powder is used. In the same working temperature range (-40 °С … +60 °С), leakage current values are comparable for both tantalum and niobium solid-electrolyte capacitors; niobium capacitors can successfully substitute tantalum solid-electrolyte capacitors.
OJSC "Elecond" produces three types of niobium solid-electrolyte capacitors:
K53-4 type - hermetically sealed capacitor in military series
K53-52 type - hermetically sealed capacitor in military and specialized military series. This type differs from K53-4 type in higher specific charge per volume unit and, thus, obtains reduced case sizes for the same ratings. At working temperatures up to +60 °С K53-52 type can substitute K53-18 type.
K53-60 type - radial dipped capacitor (one end terminals). PQC 2/RU-0001 Specs of this type meet the requirements of IECEE. The type by its specific weight surpasses domestic alternates К53-19 and К53-21 types. At working temperatures up to +60°С K53-60 type can substitute K53-34 type.
